Regulation 18 Preferred Approach Consultation

A new Local Plan for the Peak District is currently being prepared. This consultation on the Local Plan Preferred Approach is undertaken in accordance with Regulation 18 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.

The PDNPA would like to hear from all stakeholders including those who live, work or do business in the National Park. The Preferred Approach consultation sets out draft policies and policy directions.

The consultation will run from 9am on 3 November to 5pm on 21 December 2025.
